Features Tour

Here’s a brief overview of the features you'll find in BlueLoop. Scroll down the page to follow a tour of some of our most popular features.

Daily Activity

The Daily Entry screen is used by all caregivers. It is used for real-time logging of activity, as well as communicating with other caregivers in your private network.

It’s as easy as one-two-three!

  1. Enter information such as BGs, carbs, inhaler use, other tests and notes into your website.
  2. Indicate which caregivers from the Notification List should receive instant notification of the information you have entered. Notifications are sent via email and/or text message – your choice.
  3. Finally, click the “Submit Entry” button. Notifications are sent instantly and the information is saved and displayed.

Medical Profile

The Medical Profile tab is where the child’s dosages can be documented and stored. The dosages are viewable by all caregivers but can only be updated by Site Administrator(s).

The medical screen is customized based on the child’s condition: diabetes, asthma, allergies, or others.

Log View

All caregivers on your network have access to the Log View. It enables them to view historical activity by date, organized by event. This makes it easy to identify trends in order to make dosage adjustments. The Log View can be customized by date ranges for easy review.

BlueLoop offers four log views, and you can export, print, and email the BG log.

Doctor Communications

You and your doctor can communicate back and forth if they are signed up to use BlueLoop with their patients. Your doctor can see real time BG logs, current dosages, and then communicate with you, any changes they might recommend.

This feature is especially important for newly diagnosed children and first-time insulin pump users, when close monitoring and frequent adjustments need to be made.
